I love spending time in nature and observing the world. Ecology and evolution are the branches of science I gravitate toward most. I like to travel California in search of diverse ecosystems and environments to observe the resident birds, amphibians and mammals. In my free time, I also enjoy rock climbing, skateboarding, skiing, riding my bike, swimming, kayaking, reading, practicing a foreign language, listening to music and playing the piano. I learn best about the world by doing, and I try to pack my time with as many different activities as possible. My hopes for all students at Ready Springs is that they learn to treat each other with compassion and understanding while finding academic areas of study that really drive and excite them. I want my students to know that I care about them as individuals, and that more choices are coming their way in high school, and I can't wait for the opportunities they will encounter.
